Due to the vastness of the study area and the diversity of the research topics involved, this program seeks to establish a new research framework for \u2018Asian Regional Studies\u2019 through an interdisciplinary and convergent approach. Empirical research on past networks can demonstrate how \u2018mobility\u2019 and \u2018connectivity\u2019 have contributed to the formation and reproduction of the Asian World, and also provides insights on exchange and cooperation in the contemporary Asian World.<\/p>\n<p>Research goals for 2022-2024 include the construction of an \u2018Archaeological and Historical Evidence for Exchange in the Asian World Database\u2019 for empirical research of various exchange networks that created the Asian World.
