On March 31, 2026, the West Asia Center (Director: Gi Yeon Koo) of SNUAC paid a courtesy visit to the Korea–Arab Society.

The meeting was attended by Seongsoo Choi (newly appointed Secretary-General, Korea–Arab Society), Tae-eun Kim (Team Manager, Korea–Arab Society), Gi Yeon Koo (Director, West Asia Center), Yuihyun Hwang (Research Fellow, West Asia Center), and Ha-eun Han(Co-Researcher, West Asia Center). During the meeting, participants exchanged views on strengthening future cooperation between the Korea–Arab Society and the West Asia Center and discussed concrete plans for collaboration related to a prospective MOU.

On April 2, 2026, a delegation from Shandong University in China visited SNUAC to discuss potential avenues for exchange and cooperation between the two institutions.

The Shandong University delegation included Cao Xianqiang, Vice President; Zheng Jingbin, Dean of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences; Ma Wen, Chair of the Department of Foreign Languages and Literature; Liu Chang, Professor in the Department of Korean Language; Cheng Xiaohua, Professor in the Department of Political Science and Public Administration; and Su Chang, Director of the Office of International Affairs. From SNUAC, participants included Ho Kim, Deputy Director; Baek Yung Kim, Director of the Northeast Asia Center; Ilhong Ko, HK Professor; and Lan Jin, Research Fellow at the Northeast Asia Center. The meeting was arranged with the assistance of Kwang-eok Kim, Professor Emeritus of Anthropology at SNU (formerly Distinguished Professor at Shandong University), and Young-min Kwon, Professor Emeritus of Korean Language and Literature at SNU (Foreign Chair Professor at Shandong University).
