As air pollution in Delhi rises as a serious social problem, there are increasing businesses that produce and circulate products that respond to pollution. Though there exists a neo-liberal opposition that emphasizes individualist solutions to sociopolitical issues, we should note the phenomenon of the fusion of an ecopreneurial consciousness and civic consciousness that is emerging in Delhi. Through the ecopreneurial civic consciousness that appears as a combination of entrepreneurial consciousness that seeks technological solutions for social needs, scientific technology that pursues the entire city’s development into a smart city, and the reestablishment of civic consciousness, we can examine the paradoxical phenomenon in Delhi, of the desire to distribute technologies and products and the devotion to public welfare.
