Migration-Development Nexus in Korea: Search for Policy Coherence

Speaker: Younghee Cho (Migration Research and Training Centre)

Dr. Younghee Cho is a vising scholar at SNUAC. After earning her Ph.D. in political science with ‘Cambodia’s Democratization and Partisan Politics’ in 2006, she has worked as a researcher at the Korean Institute of Southeast Asian Studies and the Institute of Korean Political Studies at Seoul National University since 2007 and has been concentrating on research and teaching at Migration Research and Training Centre since 2012. Her major interests are in consilient research in Southeast Asian studies, migration and refugee policy and development cooperation. She also actively serves as a consultant for governmental committees regarding migration, sustainable development, New Southern Policy and grant aid.
