Representatives from International Institute for Economics and Linguistics, Irkutsk State University, Russia, Visit SNUAC


On Friday, October 18, Arkhipkin Oleg Valerievich (Dean, International Institute for Economics and Linguistics) and Kolodina Evgenia Anatolyevna (Chair, Dept. of Oriental Languages) from Irkutsk State University, Russia, visited SNUAC.

The representatives of ISU’s International Institute for Economics and Linguistics talked to SNUAC director Park SooJin about their participation in KF Global E-School program that SNUAC had been proceeding for 9 years since 2011, and had a discussion for expanded exchange between ISU and SNU. The representatives participated in a long meeting with researchers at SNUAC  Center for Eurasian and Central Asian Studies, sharing their research interests for the Eurasian region and discussing possibilities for more cooperative measures for both parties.

Irkutsk State University is a top university in East Siberia and the Far East with 100 years of history, having been established in 1918 in Irkutsk where Lake Baikal is located. SNUAC has agreed to prepare an MOU with ISU’s International Institute for Economics and Linguistics, and plans to proceed KF Global E-School together from 2020 on.
