Review

On December 13, 2018, the ceremony for 2018 SNUAC Dissertation Award was held at SNUAC. This event was the fifth award ceremony since the first that was held in 2014 and starting from this year the support was expanded to include master’s dissertations. This year had markedly high competition with only two finalists selected for each Doctorate and Master’s category from a total of 30 doctorate and 39 mater’s dissertation submissions. SNUAC seeks to encourage and support future generation scholars in Asian studies to widen their scope of research with clear vision through this program.
