SNUAC Signs MOU with Institute of Asian Studies at Chulalongkorn University, Thailand


SNUAC has signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Institute of Asian Studies at Chulalongkorn University, Thailand on the 5th of November. Institute of Asian Studies at Chulalongkorn University was represented by Director Nualnoi Treerat who was visiting Seoul for the 2018 Culture Week of Thailand at SNUAC. SNUAC Director SooJin Park and Southeast Asia Center Director Myung-Seok Oh met with Director Nualnoi Treerat and they mutually introduced each institution’s major projects and they agreed on advancing future international collaborative projects. The Institute of Asian Studies at Chulalongkorn University, Thailand (http://www.ias.chula.ac.th) was established in 1967 and embodies seven research centers (Asian Research Center for Migration, Chinese Studies Center, Mekong Studies Center, Muslim Studies Center, South Asia Center, Center for Multiculturalism, and Japanese-ASEAN Center) as of 2018. The institute is also participating in three graduate-level programs on Asia at Chulalongkorn University.
