Abstract

Purpose of the Seminar :

As can be seen in recent wars in Iraq, Libya, and Syria, wars are inseparable from discourse that justifies wars. Discourse that ‘demonizes’ North Korea and Iran cannot be free from the security crisis and related interests. This seminar analyzes the ‘demonization discourse’ that targets North Korea by the international society to examine the role of the media in promoting peace in Korean peninsula.
